Who is Shea?

Somewhere between an ancient workshop and a cathedral window, between a master craftsman and a story that's been told in glass for centuries, you'll find Shea Nicole Roberts and she wants to bring you along for the ride!

A multidisciplinary fine artist originally from Southern California and now based in London, Shea holds a BFA from Seattle University with an emphasis in painting. She first made her name with viral hand-painted custom shoes for bands including Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, and A Day to Remember, before turning her focus to glass art, a medium she's spent years pushing into bold new territory with psychedelic imagery, science fiction narratives, and an entomologist's eye for the natural world.

Away Shea Goes is the next chapter: a global journey through glass art in all its forms, from Japanese Kiriko cutting to Venetian glassblowing, and everywhere in between. Told by someone who loves it deeply enough to go anywhere it leads.

Who is Max?

Max has been making things move since before he knew what filmmaking was. His early stop-motion work gave him an instinct for frame-by-frame storytelling that led him naturally into VFX, where he began studying high-level compositing as a teenager.

He went on to earn a BFA in Cinema Producing from Columbia College Hollywood, and spent the years after graduation finding his footing across the industry with production work for the Food Network and internships at talent agencies and production companies. But VFX kept calling his name, and he built a career working on projects including NCIS, The Walking Dead, Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted, featured effects work on an Entertainment Weekly’s cover, and commercial campaigns for IBM.

On Away Shea Goes, Max brings all of it together as producer and editor, and adds a new dimension to the show through motion graphics and animation that are entirely his own.
